New Cases:

Case 1:

Baby Zunera Tamim, 6 years old, is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic  Leukemia (a type of blood cancer), She has been taking the treatment in Basavatarakam  cancer hospital,  Hyderabad from last month. As per doctors her treatment can go to 6-8 months from now.Her  condition is getting worse as her platelet count is reducing drastically whereas wbc count is going up.She needs continuous doctor observation.Doctors have estimated the continuous treatment with medications and approx cost of the complete treatment as  8,00,000/- INR.  But for the one month treatment for chemo and all they are initially  charging 1,50,000/- INR. They have already spent around 200,000/- INR during there last admission to the hospital and cannot bear the coming cost of the treatment now. Doctors are doing bone marrow test and other tests alternate days for which some times the cost is going upto 45,000/- INR at a time.

Family Background:

Baby Zunera is suffering from the disease since last month and currently in the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital,Her father M.A Hakeem was working as driver in Saudi and returned. Currently not working anywhere (as he has to be there in Hyderabad for treatment).He has 3 more elder daughters to look after.They have already utilised all of their savings and taken the help from there friends and relatives as well.The family is distressed and need our help to continue the treatment.

Sister Akhtari Banoo Khalid Papanji, 60 years old is suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (Blood Cancer), She has been taking the treatment in Nair Hospital,Mumbai from August 2017.Doctors have estimated the continuous treatment with medications and approx cost of treatment is 1,00,000/- INR. They have already spent a big amount during there last admission to the hospital and cannot bear the coming cost of the treatment now.

Sister Akhtari Banoo is suffering from the disease since August 2017, Her husband Khalid is a retired person, She has 2 Sons who are married and have their family and children to look after. They both work with salary of 10K each. There is no other income source for the family and they have already utilised all of their savings and taken the help from their friends and relatives as well. The family is distressed and need our help to continue the treatment.

Baby Ammar Warunkar, 1.5 years age, is suffering from Single Stage Hypospadias for Proximal Hypospadias,Doctors have asked to undergo with the surgery as soon as possible and have estimated approx cost for the surgery is 1,29,610/- INR. They have already spent some amount for several tests like CBC, Sonography etc. The family is not in the position to bear the complete cost of the treatment and need our help to proceed with the surgery.

Family Background:
Baby Ammar is the only child of his father, who is working in Boat club in Mahabaleshwar earning Rs.250/- per day.He is suffering from some injury in Hand since last year due to which he cannot do heavy work.His elder brother is also working in Boat company having two children.His mother is also a patient suffering from diabetes,heart and paralysis! They need to take her every month to Wai,Satara district. to see the doctor and it costs them Rs.3000/- every month.The family is distressed and need our help to continue the treatment of the child now.

Update on past cases

Case 1: Sister Zubeda Patel has been discharged from hospital, we have disbursed approx 5K from our side and will be helping in further treatment, reserved 35,000/- INR from our side..

Case 2: Brother Azharuddin Kolampalli is yet to go for operation soon, we have reserved 45,000/- INR from our side.

Case 3: Brother Afroz Aalam has been shifted to another hospital and we have helped with 45,000/- INR from our side.

Case 4: Sister Nausheen Naeem Shaikh is still on medications and planning to start the treatment in new hospital, we have reserved 35,000/- INR from our side.
